Secondary school situated in Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex are recruiting for an Assistant Principal of English. This schools innovative cutting edge culture is soon to be complimented by a fantastic new building that will be home to their valued students and respected staff.


Role: Assistant Principal of English
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

The school are looking to recruit an Assistant Principal of English with a passion for inspiring their charges; a teacher with the knowledge and skills to continually raise the standards of teaching and learning within this exciting school.

Providing a bright and modern learning environment, with a distinctive ethos and character that fits well with their Specialist Technology College status; the innovative and supportive attitude of this school is apparent everywhere you go, everyone contributes to this friendly and committed environment.

The successful candidate will be committed to:

• leadership by example but believe in developing a focus of distributing leadership;
• assist the Head Teacher in the creation and implementation of a strategic plan for English;
• monitor, evaluate and review the effects of policies, priorities and targets of the English departments in practice, and take action if necessary;

• assist the Head Teacher in ensuring that policies and practises take account of national, local and school data, and inspection and research findings.
